WILMINGTON -- Getting young people off the streets and more involved is on the NAACP's agenda. As a result it's hosting a youth night Friday. Youth members from five to 25 from all across the state will be in town. They'll enjoy a choir performance, speakers and scholarship presentations. The goal is to get young people more involved and active in public service. The activities will run from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the riverside Hilton in downtown Wilmington.
