Signing a petition such as this just makes sense. Our legislators only respond to a social problem with courage and vision when the ballot box is in question. If you still beleive in the democratic process, you go grass roots. Right, Tea Party members?????

And yes, guns and violence ARE a social problem. If the faith based community everywhere got fully behind this movement, change is possible. So, what do you say, Christians? Those of other faiths? Sorry folks, but I will never believe having a gun makes anyone safe (and the NRA is just CYA on this one).
