I see your point....but trust me, coming from someone who knows this worthless existence, he will probably lack the courage to even face prison. If he does, he will spend his time doing what he has done all along, which is whatever he did to warp his mind enough to end up behind bars. If one of those clogged arteries never shifts, and he hasn't done anything to himself to end his life, then there will be at least one person present to remind him in 30 years what he did, and the two lives that he very nearly ruinned.
