to put women on the front line of combat. I have no doubt that women would perform in combat with skill and bravery. I have no doubt that women would follow and live up to the standards expected of a combat troop. Situations develop where wounded must be extracted as quickly and safely as possible. I know women would want to react but can they complete the task? Picking up or dragging someone twice your size out of a firefight is no easy task and most of the time there is no time to wait until someone else bigger and stronger comes along. I have no concern about the character and bravery of our women service members however there are physical limitations that could create more harm than help. I am sure the Sec. of Defense has studied this issue and has made his decision based on sound information or at least I hope so!
Dangerous Move
