The first two female volunteers for the Marine Corps Infantry Officers Course dropped out after two weeks. There is a place for women in the military, just not in Combat Arms. The combat load for a typical Marine Infantryman is well over 100 pounds. Once you add together the equipment you are required to carry, weapons, etc. Then see how they can hang on that 26 mile hump with said equipment. Even for a male its rough.
