Another huge concern should be how easy bed bugs can be transferred from one person to another and the frequency of which these firefighters and EMTs enter people's homes. There is a very high likelihood that when they are making these house calls they are unknowingly spreading the pests with every visit. Not to mention bringing them back to their own homes. In which case it is no longer a "contained" infestation but one that is being rapidly spread throughout their community. The fact that this has been a known problem for over a year is deplorable and it is obvious that appropriate steps to eradicate the problem have not been taken.
