Harry makes a case for the unemployed but then contradicts himself (I think):
" Vote against any unemployment insurance bill that cuts off any federal benefits appropriated for North Carolina workers, which does not add to North Carolina's debt."
Then follows it up with:
" Vote against the measure that uses temporary debt as an excuse to permanently gut a system which has allowed family and community economic stability."
I LIKE MR. Payne and I wish he would respond to my comments in the star news article.
But I will say this. They have 2 years (possibly more if the Fed Gov delays the pay back date) McCrory wants to pay it back in 1 year.
So I say this - pay it back in 2 years to give YOUR policies a chance to CREATE the jobs you CLAIM they'll create so as to reduce the unemployment rate.
My guess is that McCroy's tax policies won't create the jobs necessary to reduce unemployment so why punish worker's for a filed economic policy?
