I know of a personal situation that is similar.
A guy puts a storefront type business in place and buys a house a block away for living in. The business grows an soon his business is full. He's successful and builds a place in Landfall. He paid off his initial house and its only a block away so now its empty. He maintains the homes appearance. Why not use it for business storage? So long as there's no hazardous materials what rules prevent this? Zoning regulation maybe - but I see no harm in it, honestly.
