Permit for growing? probably a Federal revenue stream and will require more Agriculture inspectors to make sure its grown the right way.

Then we have the gun laws.
Alcohol disperses in the body fairly quickly meaning a person with a CCP can have a drink on Saturday and on Monday have no trace of alcohol in his system while carrying.
But if he smoked pot on Saturday there are traces in his system monday and he could lose his CCP if tested.
But that's OK - the majority of folks would rather change the law in order to keep themselves qualified as "law abiding citizens" than have to comply with a real law.
