Death of Lejeune Marine under investigation

CAMP LEJEUNE -- Investigators are looking into the death of a 20-year-old Marine whose body was found at a Camp Lejeune rifle range earlier this month. A Marine spokesman says the body of 20-year-old Lance Cpl. Timothy A. Lovett of Los Angeles County, Calif., was found October 4 at the stone bay rifle range. Spokesman Lt. Col. Curtis hill says Lovett was a planning specialist assigned to the headquarters of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force. He joined the Marine Corps in 2005. Hill declined to release any additional details about Lovett's death because the case is under investigation. (Copyright 2007 by the Associated Press. All rights reserved.)
