WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Even with the looming winter weather this weekend, the Wilmington Garden Show was still in full bloom at Cape Fear Community College's Schwartz Center. Lots of gardeners showed up to learn new tips and to scope out some unique landscape ideas. Some people said it felt like the first sign of spring. "We had been to the show last year and we thoroughly enjoy it," said Beverly Delmoral of Leland. "I do like to garden. I just appreciate seeing all the new flowers, maybe some new plants that they brought in. It is just lovely. I just enjoy it. I do look forward to the flowers blooming and the greenery coming back. It is just a lot of fun to see it." The annual event featured flowers, shrubs, and landscape products. Gardeners were happy to get there thumbs green.
