Okay well we all know the governor and cabinet are fattening their pockets and the bill is signed. But I have a plan to fix everybodys problems. Since you the Republican party got your bill.
I believe since we're in at will state we need stiff penalties on businesses who lie in unemployment cases to deter companies from believing they can fire or layoff individuals without justification and documentation. Also it would help stop the back log on unemployment cases. This would keep the company's honest in the determination of terminating an individual. My first thought is penalty of a double of wages if company is ruled against in a appeal case. Also the time frame of unemployment is way to long for the average joe to stay the time limit had to condensed back to 4-5 weeks for scheduled appeal hearings. One more note If the employer is caught giving false statements to hold back unemployment benefits their needs to be some type of jail time imposed. This keeps every body honest since those type of punishments are deemed fit for the employees.
