The GOP over riding her executive order to FORCE the rate increase:
"Session Law 2012-142 House Bill 950 directed DOT to disregard the executive order and clarified ferry tolling in Section 24.18(a) G.S. 136-82, directing DOT to collect tolls"
Thats interesting. Of course when you take away the Democrats you come to the realization the the GOP does have to raise taxes and they do so with impunity. Wyoming legislature, with 4 Dem Senators and 6 House Dems (89% GOP controlled) recently increased gasoline taxes 100% - that's right they DOUBLED the gas tax to close a budget gap.......
