How you deduced that it is the sheriff's responsibility to actually clean up the roadside trash is a bit puzzling. Perhaps you need to repeat your third grade reading comprehension class. The point that was made was that the Sheriff's dept should at minimum contact the appropriate personnel to take care of issues which they are clearly aware of. It is hardly unreasonable to expect the sheriff's dept to address public safety issues such as malfunctioning traffic lights, decaying animal carcasse and roadside hazards. For you to think otherwise leads one to question if you are the one littering the roadways and trashing up the town with your piggish ways.
