One of the reasons these habitual drunks keep getting behind the wheel is because they KNOW that all they have to do is go downtown and get one of the slick lawyers down there, (and there are plenty of them down there) give him a few hundred dollars and off they go. Maybe 30 days in jail for the first offense, not served on weekends but 30 days in a row would make others think before they drive drunk and if the drunk loses his or her job while serving time then so what! There's no reason at all for driving while impaired.
