We all have issues, but not all of us are so irresponsible and reckless to drink to the point of being drunk and then get behind the wheel of a car. He should be happy that he has family. I doubt that is any comfort to the innocent person he killed who has family grieving for her at the moment.

If you are family to him, you shouldn't be hurting for him. You should stop enabling him.
