WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Ashley boys basketball team picked up their first state playoff win in the history of the school on Monday night. It came against the defending 4-A state champs. The Hoggard boys survived at home in overtime against Terry Sanford. These weren't the only big playoff wins for area teams. In fact we had highlights from nine different games on Monday! We had video from Shallotte, Leland, Wilmington, Lake Waccamaw, Whiteville and Pitt County. We've posted scores and notes below.
