I remember back during my elementary school days, many children came to school barefooted, dressed in dirty looking clothes with no lunch money. My daddy was a big dog, I had new jeans, shoes and my lunch money was paid in advance. However, It was a terrible time with so many moms and dads with little money, low pay or had to sell a crop to get the kids caught up.
I mention this because we seem here in NC to be headed back in that direction. The Republicans have been in control about two months and all they can find to work on is firing every state board member, take the word education from the lottery, diminish the lottery advertising so fewer will play and refuse the Medicaid option of Obama Care (which 8 republican govs have just accepted?)and are working the night away on teaching the old and new testament. Brilliant!!!
Couldn't they find a little time for unemployment needs, since they just cut back on benefits they might put a little effort toward job creation. Maybe gas tax could get a little attention. Whats NC doing about the sequestration issue. Burr just stays in Washington sitting on his hands until Mcain and Graham tell him what to do. Wonder if he has an idea or even cares about how much we will be hurt if the defense budget gets hit next week. So far McCory has been a joke and is making North Carolina look regressive.
You Repubs got the ball now. Were waiting for an intelligent decision.
You blasted Purdue at every opportunity now coming out of the gate you seem pitiful!!!
