Who performed the ceremony in the Garden of Eden? It says "be fruitful and multiply" not get married and multiply. It appears you are making up your explanations of God's words to justify your arguments.
Actually, until the Middle Ages the ceremony to get married barely had religious overtures. The only part that religion had was to say a prayer at the wedding, but, as always, you give organized religion a foot in the door the next thing you know you can't get them out of your house.
There is so much hate in the world, (as is evidenced on this forum), that I am happy when two people, regardless of gender, fall in love and want to be together forever.
Keep your nose out of other people's business.
