They can sell more tickets to the new downtown venue than at Trask where you can only sell ~70% of seats because of where the stage sets up. Can also sell beer/wine and will have food-trucks on-site which you can't at Trask.
More ticket sales and income from beverage & food should equal lower ticket costs and the ability to bring in bigger names. Hoping that after seeing how much more money the concerts generate this year, they'll have a better idea for what they can offer acts next year.
