WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- This year's ribbon cutting garden is an impressive spot in Forest Hills. The home of Lance and Meredith Lewis features a gorgeous front lawn lined with bright azaleas that surround a creek.
The backyard has a formal fountain topped with a statue. But, there's a creative flare to the yard too.
"We're very blessed to have an old, established, garden," says Meredith Lewis. "It's very formal, but I've got young children, so we've got a zipline and a playhouse and chickens in the chicken coop."
Truth be told, the aforementioned coop may just be the most stylish chicken coop you've seen. The children tend to the chickens and collect new eggs every morning.
