THE RAIN HELD UP FRIDAY'S BASEBALL GAME BETWEEN HOGGARD AND LANEY. THE TWO TEAMS MADE THE GAME UP TONIGHT. THE SEAHAWKS BEAT WILLIAM AND MARY FOUR-NOTHING SUNDAY. THIS WILL BE THE PROGRAM'S FOURTH APPEARANCE IN THE N-C-A-A TOURNAMENT. THE SEAHAWKS ARE RANKED 54-TH NATIONALLY. THE WOMEN'S TENNIS TEAM AND THE WOMEN'S GOLF TEAM TOOK HOME SECOND PLACE FINISHES OVER THE WEEKEND. THE C-A-A CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE STILL WEEKS AWAY FOR BASEBALL. THE SEAHAWKS STEP OUT OF CONFERENCE TOMORROW TO TAKE ON NUMBER ONE NORTH CAROLINA IN CHAPEL HILL. THE TAR HEELS BEAT UNCW TEN-NOTHING IN WILMINGTON EARLIER THIS MONTH. THE SEAHAWKS ARE COMING OFF A THREE GAME SWEEP AT GEORGE MASON OVER THE WEEKEND. UNCW MOVED UP FOUR SPOTS IN TODAY'S BASEBALL AMERICA POLL. THE HAWKS ARE NOW RANKED 21-ST IN THE NATION. CONGRATULATIONS TO FORMER ASHLEY HIGH SCHOOL TRACK STANDOUT STANLEY BROADEN. BROADEN NOW RUNS FOR APPALACHIAN STATE. THIS PAST WEEKEND HE WON BOTH THE ONE-TEN AND FOUR-HUNDRED METER HURDLES AT THE SOUTHERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS. BROADEN IS NOW QUALIFIED FOR THE N-C-A-A EAST PRE-LIMINARIES IN BOTH EVENTS.THEY WILL BE HELD NEXT MONTH IN GREENSBORO.
