I can understand the frustration of the residents of this sub-division. First of all, do you pay property taxes? If so, to whom? North Carolina is one of the most heavily taxed states in the South. Gasoline tax is supposed to be for the improvement of roads, also, you are supposed to get something in return for your property taxes, i.e. road signs. We certainly pay high enough taxes that our streets should be paved with gold and all the proper signage should be installed. Time to go to the city of county, or both and make your grievences known until something is done about it. If they choose to do nothing, you can always show your displeasure at the polls.
