CAROLINA BEACH,NC (WWAY) -- Folks put their imaginations to work this weekend at the Carolina Beach Street Arts Festival. The goal is to expose the community to art, and that's what artists did. Many artists not only showcased their work, but also demonstrated the process. "For me, to get another child inspired by the arts or involved in the arts is thrilling," said art teacher Denise Bramley. "I know that this will continue. We can all go to Walmart and buy inexpensive dishes. But this is not only an art-form, it is a tradition that I hope carries on." Adults and children had the chance to get involved and make art of their own. The pottery station caught the attention of many, while others enjoyed painting.
