This lady does not deserve to lose her job for making an innocent comment. Part of good customer service means relating to the customer and not acting like a robot. In this case, she was simply trying to interact with the children in a lighthearted manner, nothing more.
Ms. Green, do you mean to tell me you have NEVER said something that offended someone when that wasn't your intent or maybe god forbid, called someone an actual RACIST term? Yes, whitey and cracker count! Think real hard before you answer because one day you might have to answer under oath!!
You do not own the language, therefore you do not get decide for everyone else the words used and their intent.
