WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Police have arrested a man after they say a single shot was fired in Wilmington Tuesday night. According to Wilmington Police, just before 10 p.m. ShotSpotter picked up one gunshot near the intersection of 10th and Kidder Streets. Police say shortly after they were alerted, they saw Lee Andrew Williams Jr., 28, walking along the railroad tracks. After questioning Williams, officers found a .380 caliber handgun in his front pocket, and he admitted to firing his weapon. Williams is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and discharging a firearm within city limits. He is out of jail after posting $1,000 bond.
