While I am flabbergasted at this I can see why they may want to pursue a slowdown in implementation. The latest batch of test results from NY indicate that many students are flunking the tests.
Now - is it the fact that the tests are harder? I don't know.
But we've tried so many initiatives its hard to say which one will work.
No Child Left Behind is an abysmal failure, so perhaps this will be too?
Readin, ritin, and rithmetic should be taught (And spelling for me)
