For starters let me state I have no problem conserving water. I have not watered my lawn in a long long time and my cars are covered in a thick layer of dust now. and I have tried to cut down on my water usage as much as possible and obide by the current restrictions.
That being said I do have a problem with some of the restrictions. Why is it okay to wash a car at a car wash but not at your house? This makes no sense to me.
How come you can not wash your boat? If your house is on fire, is the fire department not going to put it out because of the water restrictions? You have a right to defend your property against destruction. Saltwater is the MOST corrosive substance know to man and if you leave your boat covered in salt it will cause it to deteriorate in a very very short time span. Not to mention the smell coming from the fish box and the blood stains on the deck.
