Economists seem to have built in job security in their profession. Put two economists in the same room and you'll wind up with three different opinions as to how things really are. Seems like whatever they say, even if their opinions are diametrically different, no one is ever wrong. I suspect that the Oracle of Delphi back in ancient Greece was actually trained as an economist or perhaps, economists are actually trained to imitate the Oracle of Delphi.
On another note: It must have been quite a hardship for the Convention Center staff to have to get up early enough to unlock the doors and let people in the building. I wonder if they had to have re-familiarization training sessions for the procedure.
