One of finalists chosen for Fire on the Dock

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- If you want to go out to eat, you might as well chow down on food made by the best.

The Fire on the Dock Dining Competition series continued Monday night at the Bluewater Grill in Wrightsville Beach.

The fifth night was between two chefs, one from Circa 81 in Morehead City, and the other from the Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington.

They had to use Cheshire pork by Heritage Farms and three types of mustard from Lusty Monk Mustard in three dishes each. It all came down to the dessert.

"Incorporating that into the dessert is the chef's choice. They don't have to do it but it is quite a challenge when they do. And, they both went for it. They both used both ingredients in their desserts. And, sometimes one dish can make you or break you. One guy hit a home run and the other one not quite as well as he'd like to have done on that one," said Jimmy Crippen who hosted the event.

Antoine Murray from the Cape Fear Country Club won. He goes on to the finals which will be Feb. 17.
Tuesday night's winner will also go to the finals.
