BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- It will be at least another day until investigators know the identity of a body that washed ashore Monday in Brunswick County.
Southport Police Chief Jerry Dove said an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday had to be postponed. It was rescheduled for Wednesday in Greenville.
The body washed up around 7 a.m. Monday morning in Bald Head Island. All investigaors know at this point is that the body is a man.
Dove says there is a possibility it could be the body of Adam Muhammad. The 22-year-old has been missing since Valentine's Day.
