CFPUA postpones work that would have meant northside boil water advisory

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) has postponed work that will require a precautionary boil water advisory for homes and businesses in a portion of the north side of Wilmington. The work was scheduled to be done Friday afternoon.

The utility announced the postponement Thursday evening. Crews were slated to replace three valves in the area of the N. 4th St. due to potential impact on businesses, according to a news release.

There's no word yet when the work will be done.
