Check out the first ever Food Truck Frolic at Ogden Park

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Food Truck Frolic is taking over Ogden Park Sunday, March 23. Local foodies will get the chance to bite into something delicious and give back to the New Hanover County Park System.

Director of Donor Relations Janine Powell stopped by Good Morning Carolina to dish up all the details. In addition to rattling off all of the great vendors taking part in the event, she explained why private donations are needed in addition to current public fundings.

Check out her whole interview, after reading through the list of vendors who will be on hand between 12 and 5 p.m. near the playground at Ogden Park. Admission is free and participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Participating vendors include:
•Catch, featuring nationally known Chef Keith Rhodes of Top Chef
•Poor Piggy's
•P.T.'s Olde Fashioned Grille
•Trolley Stop
•Noni Bacca
•Fermental Beer and Wine
•Rita's Ice
•Granny Niece's Ice Cream

Proceeds from food and beverages purchased will help improve and enhance New Hanover County Parks through the Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County.
