Seatbelts are fine in cars

Seatbelts are fine in cars where a windshield is in front of you, but a bus, any bus is different. Small children, buckled into their seats would be trapped in a bad crash. Most would never be able to open the buckle and be stuck until someone freed them. In the event of fire, this could really be tragic. I think they are much safer with a thickly padded seat back close in front of them. I wonder if the Transportation Secretary has been approached by some company that makes these belts and a "deal" has been struck. Food for thought.
