NC Coastal Federation dives into marine life for first 'Touch Tank Tuesday' event

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- The NC Coastal Federation is dishing out some fun for its first-ever 'Touch Tank Tuesdays' event in the interactive series launch at Wrightsville Beach.
With the event now taking place on the third Tuesday of each month through October, 'Touch Tank Tuesdays' invites people of all ages to dive into marine life, learning about the animals and creatures that live in area salt marshes and tidal creeks.
The series is going on at the beach town's recently opened Fred and Alice Stanback Coastal Education Center, and Ted Wilgis, the Coastal Education Coordinator, stopped by Good Morning Carolina to give us a feel for what the community can expect.
