That is a tiny leak compared to some of the ones I have seen going on for years. I have seen one recently still ongoing that has been noted for at least 4 years, and it is located where the pipe crosses the Cape Fear East of Navassa.
Then there are several similar leaks to the one pictured as far back down the pipeline as the Riegelwood area.
