Alleged bank robber facing more charges

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- The man accused of robbing a Pender County bank last week is facing even more charges.

New Hanover County Sheriff's Detectives said Jordan Laif Carroll also robbed the Kangaroo Convenience Store on Castle Hayne Road back in May.

Pender County Detectives arrested Carroll, 20, Friday for the armed robbery of the State Employees Credit Union in Burgaw.

The New Hanover and Pender County Sheriff's Offices connected Carroll to robbing the Kangaroo twice in May.

Carroll is currently in the Pender County Detention Facility under a $191,500.00 secure bond.
