WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A third member of a Wilmington family is in custody in connection with a March stabbing.
US Marshals Service spokesman Bryan Konig says a task force arrested Antonio Point, 21, this morning in Greensboro. He's charged with attempted murder in the March 12 stabbing of Edvis Galloway.
Konig says investigators in Wilmington got information that Point was in Greensboro. He says this morning members of a task force went to an apartment building in Greensboro, where they found Point, who Konig says jumped from a third-story window, hit the ground and ran off. Investigators tracked Point with a K9 to another apartment, where he was taken into custody.
Point is in a Greensboro hospital for observation after injuring his back jumping from the window, Konig said. He could face more charges in Greensboro for allegedly running from officers.
Point's younger brother William, 19, was arrested the day after Galloway was stabbed and charged with attempted murder. He denied his involvement in the crime during a jailhouse interview with WWAY. Their older brother Adrian, 22, turned himself in in April to face charges.
