WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A historic downtown Wilmington building now dons a shiny new plaque. From a Masonic hall to a grocery store, music venue to nightclub and now pizza place, the Masonic Hall building at 125 Market Str. has seen it all. Now that the building is restored and home to Slice of Life, the Historic Wilmington Foundation thought it was time to restore the plaque as well. "The thing that's great is it's setting a new tone with a new plaque, a rebirth of this building, new business in the building," Slice of Life owner Ray Worrell said. Worrell says looking at the old plaque, it reminds him of the condition he got the building in: worn and tattered. But now that renovations are complete on all three floors, he says the building has new life.
