Sneak Peek at new Cape Fear Community College Humanities and Fine Arts Center

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Rising on Third Street in downtown Wilmington is the new Cape Fear Community College Humanities and Fine Arts Center.

When complete it will seat between 1500 and 1600 people and bring world class performances and concerts to the Cape Fear region.

New Director Shane Fernando gives us a sneak peek as the building takes shape and says the building should be open in the spring or early summer of 2015.

It will have rooms for theater arts classes and other CFCC programs, a black box theater that will seat 150, and ammenities necessary to bring traveling shows and big name concerts.
