Driver cited in rollover crash that damaged house

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Police say several people wound up in the hospital after a morning traffic crash in Wilmington.

Officers responded to a crash at the intersection of 16th and Castle Streets shortly before 9 a.m. They say the driver of a black Hyundai was traveling east on Castle when she ran the stop light and hit a red Dodge SUV. The crash caused the Hyundai to flip over on its side knocking the SUV into a house at 1602 Castle Street causing minor damage.

Police say EMS took people in both vehicles to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

Lindsay Spero, 24, of Wilmington was cited for driving with license revoked and running a stop light.
