Duke University has fired head football coach Ted Roof after their third consecutive winless season in the ACC. Athletic Director Joe Alleva said there was nothing in Roof's character or integrity that led to the change. It was a simple matter of having only four wins in four years that led to the firing. Roof's career record dipped to 6-45 after the blue devils' overtime loss to UNC this weekend.
