Robin Bennett with the Pender County Humane Society said, "I would caution any pet owners to please be careful with your little guys around the holidays. Don't leave them unattended. There's somebody out there that just doesn't care about your feelings or your animals, they just care about they're own personal gain." And this is different from any other time of the year. This is an on going problem that has been around for many years and until we take action, it will always be a problem.
