Wolfpack coach goes home after hospital stay

RALEIGH (AP) -- North Carolina State basketball coach Sidney Lowe is out of the hospital, less than 24 hours after he was hospitalized for dehydration associated with flu-like symptoms.

Lowe coached the first half of last night's game against Number 5 North Carolina, but didn't come out for the second half. The Tar Heels broke open a close game and won 83-64.

Annabelle Myers, assistant athletics director for media relations, says Lowe and the team were already scheduled to have today off.

She says he will rejoin the team on Friday and accompany players to Saturday's game at Florida State.
