WILMINGTON -- Moustaches are making a comeback. Tony Butler is one of 145 men sporting a mustache for a good cause. Each man started growing his moustache in mid November to raise money for local make a wish foundations. Llast year the Wilmington chapter of mustaches for kids raised about $24,000. This is Butler's third year participating in the fundraiser and says he's learned some tricks on how to grow the proper mustache. Butler said, "A buddy of mine says cocoa butter, you see us rubbing it in all the time, also a conditioner. Just a bunch of funny things that guys are saying to make it softer so it doesn't itch quite as bad." This Thursday there will be a stash bash at Kefi's near Wrightsville Beach. Mustache masters will meet and the total amount of money raised will be tallied. If you want to donate to the cause visit the local mustaches for kids web site.
