I knew Maurice, his father, uncles, aunts, grand father and grand mother. I even coached this kid in the Pop Warner football league. This kid had a world of talent that could have taken him somewhere other than where he's at now. After a certain point in one's life there's no one to blame other than that person. It's unfortunate now that his potential will have to be met behind bars for the rest of his natural life.
