Funeral held for murdered Marine

DAYTON, O.H. -- Funeral services were held in Ohio Saturday for a pregnant marine found dead in Onslow County. Hundreds turned out at a church near Dayton to pay their final respects to Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach. Her charred remains were found beneath a fire pit in the backyard of Marine Cpl. Cesar Laurean's home last month. Laurean is also the man Lauterbach had accused of raping her. Both were stationed at Camp Lejeune. Authorities think Laurean fled to Mexico. He's being sought on an indictment for first-degree murder.
