I can understand businesses wanting to protect their jobs & profits but it's time to change the way landscapers & any other business that requires the use of water continue. Development also requires the use of enormous amounts of water. There should be water restrictions on developers, etc. too. We are in drought conditions in 2/3 of the U.S. and everyone (businesses & people) will need to conserve. If we do not, well I'd rather have drinking & bathing water then for someone to have green grass especially in the winter. Also using native plants & less lawn (xeroscaping) can be an alternative. Some of the lawns that are created around here are definitely not native and looks horrid.
