Good news for indoor plumbing--repairs and upgrades in our area sewer systems are in the works. Our city leaders tell us they are on the job.
I hear rumors that the northeast interceptor sewer line is not yet testing properly. What's the story here?
In the future, city council members and county leaders, please do not approve land development without planning for the very necessary sewer development. Since very few taxpayers will greatly profit from the development process, please do not force these same taxpayers to pay for the needed sewers down the line. And let's not forget the environmental impact of sewer spills into our waterways--not an acceptable sewer safety valve.
