Carolina Beach is becoming increasingly difficult for the average resident to afford to live there. The tax reevaluation & insurance have risen basically SKY HIGH! Look forward to an increase in foreclosure or developers pulling out possibly. But they'll have the oceanfront high rise hotels to continue to destroy the true beauty & environment of CB, this really saddens me. I've lived at CB for nearly 35yrs, many changes, alot not for the better. I've just recently bought a foreclosure in Ogden, 3br, 2bth-1395sq.ft., 1/4acre lot, ranch style home for $65K-it sold for $98k less than 3yrs ago. Some one elses misfortune.........
